- [Announcer] Continue using the file for chapter 5, placing basic geometry.dgm and using view group select the linear pattern element view group. A linear pattern allows you to modify the appearance of a linear element without using a custom line style. This command places a repeated pattern along the linear element based on the preferred cycle type. A truncated cycle type slices off any remaining pattern from the last instance at the end of the linear element. The complete cycle type forces the entire pattern to be placed on the linear element resulting in a varied pattern scale from one linear element to another. The single cycle type forces a single pattern onto the linear element resulting in a stretched or compressed pattern scale from one linear element to another. The multiple cycle type forces a complete pattern scale at the end of the linear element unless the remaining length of the linear element is less then 80% of a pattern instance This option may result in some varied…
