- [Instructor] Now lets take a look at how to draw circles. Continue using the file for chapter 5, "Placing Basic Geometry". Using View Groups, select the Circle Element model. Using the circle section of the Drawing Panel, select the place circle command. And using the Tool Settings dialog, the first method for placing a circle is by center. I will issue my first left mouse click, to define the center of the circle, and the second left mouse click to define the radius distance. To control the distance, I can key in a distance using AccuDraw for the radius, as demonstrated earlier. If I change the method to Diameter, the first left mouse click will define the first quadrant on the circle, and the second left mouse click will define the second quadrant on the circle. Change the method to Edge, and draw a circle using three points along its edge. This one is harder to control using AccuDraw, so I will use the Tool Setting dialog to specify the radius or diameter.
