- This session is probably one of the most important in the course. Learning to use AccuDraw efficiently is the key to precision input in MicroStation. The AccuDraw drawing utility provides you with the tools and shortcuts to enter X, Y, Z, coordinates and distance and angles so that your drawing is accurate. You also use AccuDraw to modify and manipulate with ease. The AccuDraw dialog is docked at the bottom of the application window by default. It is right above the status bar. You will either see an X and Y field or a distance and angle field. First off, AccuDraw is not an intuitive utility. You have to work at it to perfect it so don't get discouraged initially. It really is worth the effort and it will take a few days before it becomes a natural-feeling utility. I will be using AccuDraw throughout this course so you will get exposed to it, whether you want to or not.
