Importing a mesh into Metashape for editing

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll go over the process of importing a mesh into Metashape for editing. I'm working in Metashape with a new blank project, so you can see there's nothing here yet. So let's get a mesh in here and that will let us get onto the further stages of editing. From the File menu, go to the Import sub-menu and click on Import Model, and in the exercise folder, sample-set-05-mesh-edit. There's an OBJ file called statue-unfixed, and this is a mesh that was exported from the model that we worked on in other videos. So you'll probably recognize it. Go ahead and click there and click Open and we'll import our mesh. So we've done pretty much all the steps that we can in an advanced workflow to get this mesh as good as we can, and importing it here will allow us to do some further edits, things like hole filling and other things that we covered in another video.
