- [Instructor] This video will cover analyzing and repairing mesh topology in metashape. So I'm working the exercise file sample-set-05-mesh-edit-import. And here we have just a mesh that we've imported and that's all we have in the project. So with my middle mouse wheel, I'll zoom out in the model view to get a little bit better look here. And what we're doing when we analyze mesh topology is we're looking at all the vertices and the faces that make up the mesh. Now, there are certain orientations and combinations of these pieces of information that can lead to incorrect topology. Sometimes this will even be visible in a mesh. A lot of times these problems are so small that we can only get to them through statistical analysis. And the reason that it's important to do so is for example, in a workflow like 3D printing you need to follow pretty strict requirements usually for mesh topology and even small gaps or holes or…
