Volume sculpt vs. Surface sculpt

- [Man] This video is a little bit of guidance on when you would use a volume sculpting brush compared to a surface sculpting brush. So, this is the default bunny. I changed it a little bit to make the ears a little bit closer together. And I'll show you why in just a second. Click on Sculpt, and you have two options at the top. Volume and Surface. Volume has three options. Surface has four. But Surface has much less brushes than Volume does. So just like the Select tool, where you're given the option for Unwrap Brush or Sphere Brush, these work in the same way except for the Sculpting tools. So the Volume Brush, go click on Volume, creates a sphere of effect. So right here, we have the Draw tool, if I click on one ear, you see the other ear also expands. Sometimes you don't want that. You want to just work on this one ear. So you would go into Surface, and now you see, and I'll use the Draw command here, you see that the circle around the little red dot is rotating based on the…
