Using shapes to influence other shapes

- [Instructor] One way that you can get some successful sculpting in is by using reference objects. So I'm going to bring in just a sphere here, the default Meshmixer sphere. Now you have all sorts of objects that you can put on the mesh. If I click on select and select this area, we can go up here to edit to fit primitive. So this is a square. You can put a rectangle in, a cylinder, sphere from plane, you know all of these different options that are talked about in the reference section. So I would invite you to go look at the reference section on fit primitive as well. But you do have objects that you can put into your mesh to use in certain ways. So this cylinder, for example, we can create a new object. I can scale it up or down a bit and click accept. This will create another object right here.
