Smoothing and filling

- Our model has a number of holes that need repair. Let's explore a combination of selecting, smoothing, and filling tools to repair the holes in our model. All right, let's use the Orbit, Zoom, and Pan tools, to get a closeup on the bottom his chin. This blue line is called a boundary, and if it's not highlighted, that's an option to toggle Boundaries in the View menu. Let's go into the Select tool, I'm gonna use the hotkey S to bring up that panel, and you can see my brush here. I'm gonna hold my brush over the boundary, and I'm gonna double-click, and that will select around to this boundary. Then I'll hold down the Shift key and my right hand mouse button, and glide up and down to expand and contract that selection. That looks pretty good. Under Modify, I have the option to smooth the boundary, and that hotkey is B. We'll choose that, we get a nice visualization here of that new smooth boundary, and choose Accept, the hotkey's A. Then, let's go up to Edit, and Erase & Fill. And we…
