Slicing
- [Narrator] This video is on the slicing tool which you can actually use to save a 3-D print from potentially failing through this kind of neat tool. So I have a default bunny here. If I go into analysis to units and dimensions, I'm at the default size so 50 millimeters tall. If we go into analysis and slicing, the slicing tool actually doesn't show us much because this bunny is big enough that there's not actually too many slicing issues with this. So before we go on, I'm going to go back here into analysis to units and dimensions and I'm going to change the height of the bunny from 50 to 10 millimeters. If you're working with very large objects, the slicing tool really doesn't do anything. This is only for small objects. So now that the height is 10 millimeters, I'm going to go back into analysis and slicing and we see a lot difference. So what the height step is, you would want to set this. If you're printing this bunny at 200 microns, you would want to set this to .2 millimeters.…
