Setting up your virtual print bed
- [Instructor] This video is about how to set up a virtual print bed inside of Mesh Mixer. When you start Mesh Mixer you might notice that there is the name of a printer in the top right. You may not have this one, this is one that I added personally. But if you click this down arrow you'll see many different printers here from FormLabs, LulsBot, MakerGear, Stratuses, Shapeways, all sorts of ones inside of this. If you click on something like PrinterBot let's do the plus, like this. You can see that this name changes up here, but nothing else really changes. Well let me show you what that is. If we go up to here, to View and say Show Grid you've done this before, this shows where the origin is, which is that red dot. And the kind of base plane, which is where the grid is. But you can also say View and Show Printer Bed. So what this shows is the volume of in this case, the PrinterBot Plus. You can see this little bunny does not take up very much of that printer at all.
