Selecting parts of a mesh

- [Narrator] This video talks about how to select some different things on your mesh. We'll go through some different tools and techniques on how to, pretty accurately select areas on your mesh. This is the default bunny. Now first off I want to select just the ear, just one ear. So there's a few different ways to do that. We want to go into the select tool. And if you just drag and draw in mid air you can create these kind of scribbles. So what I'm going to do is go and select. And I'm just going to drag up here. And draw as best I can around that ear. Meshmixer will select the smallest area and select that. So the smallest area was this ear. And it won't select the body. If we were to do the select right here in the middle, it's anyone's guess which side it will select, so that side. But fear not, if you select something like this and you want the other side, you go to modify selection. And this is how you modify what you've selected and you just say invert, and it switches it.
