Selecting and erasing

- In this video, we'll talk about selecting and erasing. These are two tools that we'll use in Meshmixer a lot. Let's start by going to the Select tool on the left hand tool bar. You are going to see that I have two options for selecting, the Brush and the Lasso. I like to leave Brush on by default. Now if you mouse over your model, you see that you have a preview of the brush size. If you scroll up and down with your scroll wheel, you'll see that you have control over the size of that brush. You can also change it over here on the slider. Now click and drag to paint a selection onto your mesh. Brush selecting is additive, so you can stop and pick up where you left off. Keep adding to that selection. If you want to subtract from it, hold down the shift key, and paint off some of that selection. Now even while the brush tool is activated, you can still use the Lasso option. You can just click anywhere out in space. You can see that I can do sort of a linear lasso here. When I use the…
