Preparing for dual extrusion the easy way

- [Instructor] Creating a model for dual extruders is actually pretty easy if you create your model in the easy way. This is the default bunny here. I'm going to go into Edit to Plane Cut. And draw a line right here to cut the bunny like this. Instead of Cut, I'm going to go to Slice. And click Accept. It doesn't look like anything happened, but if I press the W key you see that there is a slice now through the bunny right there. And what we want to end up with is two separate models that get loaded into your 3D print software so that one nozzle prints one side. And one nozzle prints the other side and they happen to be so perfectly aligned that you get a full model when you're done. And we want to essentially separate these two. Now normally, when you click the Select button you would double click on a mesh to select it and then separate it. But because the two planes of the slice are perfectly aligned, that's not going to work in this way. If we press the T key, for transform, you…
