Paint vertex

- [Instructor] This video is on the Paint Vertex Tool that you would use to color your mesh. I click here on Sculpt, go up to Brushes, to Paint Vertex. By default, the color is white, which means that it's essentially no color. So you click on Color and select a color that you want here. In this case, I've gone over to this wheel, selected a green, and then dragged the center circle over to make a nice color green. Now, in other videos, you've seen that my mesh is a blue color. That is not the actual color of the mesh. That's called a shader. You can go over and see the shader video to understand what these do, but these are just different ways of viewing your model in nice, kind of shiny colors. They don't have anything to do with the actual color of your model. The best way to do, when you're working with Paint Vertex, is to go to Shaders, make sure you're at the top of this drop down list, and select the second one over. Just a plain white shader.
