Making a model hollow

- [Instructor] There's two main reasons to hollow out your models. The biggest is that a hollow model just uses less material and thereby costs less. If you're using a laser-based printer like the Form 2, then the print can also go faster because there will be less surface area for the laser to cover on each layer. There's just one type of printing that doesn't get any advantage from hollow models, and that's the plastic filament type. Those printers use infill patterns, which are defined by the printer's software, not by Meshmixer. Other than that, I recommend hollowing out models, so let's see how it works.
