Layout and Packing
- [Instructor] This video is on the Layout and Packing tool, which is useful for 3D printing. So, we have a bunny here. The standard bunny, but I did a couple of things to it. I did View to Show Objects Browser, and this bunny is actually three different parts. Let me turn on the other shader here. So we have a middle part, a top part, and a bottom part. These are all separate objects. You see if I hit the T key to Transform it. They're all nice separate objects. All using the Plane Cut tool. Let me cancel that. So we can work on any given object. It doesn't really matter the Layout/Packing tool affects all objects in your Object Browser. We'll go here to Analysis to Layout/Packing. So what this does is essentially aligns all of your objects as if they were to be 3D printed. Now one thing with this tool is that it does arrange them, but it does not align them. So if you look at this, if we look at if from the side you see a couple of the objects are flat on the ground, but the center…
