Intro to the fun world of playing with digital clay
- Whenever we first show Meshmixer to both kids and adults, invariably, everybody goes towards pushing and pulling models like they're playing with digital clay. Sculpting with Meshmixer can be invigorating, fun, and show you things about how you think about shapes and combinations of shapes that you didn't think that you knew. If you remember back to when you were a kid, you just enjoyed playing around with the creation of playing with clay, stretching it, moving it in different directions. And Meshmixer offers a really powerful way to get that feeling back. Now whether you're using Meshmixer for jewelry design or to add on more organic shapes onto prismatic models that come out of a CAD program, the sculpting tools inside of Meshmixer are very, very powerful, but also really accessible. So come see the rest of these videos to learn how you can start using digital clay, both on original creations, as well as on models and 3D shapes that you download from online sites. We'll see you…
