- [Instructor] The Generate Complex command is new for Meshmixer 3.0, so let's go into how it's used. All of the complexes are based on face groups, so we're going to click in Select, and create a face group. Now, this tool doesn't work on complex selections, so something like this, where we have a little bit that's not selected, will not work very well. So, if you just have it all selected, that's the best. Then we're going to create a face group out of this. So we say: Modify, Create Face Group. Also, control G is a shortcut to create the face group. If you don't see the face group, make sure space bar is down, and you see this little option selected right here. So we have a face group set up, we go to Edit to Generate Complex. We have a unique interface that doesn't exist in any other Meshmixer tool, kind of hovering things that are highlighting. We want to do it on this face group. Generally, you're going to want to do the subsection, you're never going to want to run this command…
