Flattening
- [Instructor] This video is on how you flatten something, which is a very often request thing. So there's different ways of doing it, I'll show you kind of the most straightforward one and then one that's less obvious but actually a little bit more powerful. So under sculpt you can go to volume to brushes and flatten. This is probably the most straightforward, so let's say we have these spires right here and just so you know I hovered my mouse over a certain place, pressed the C key, C as in center, which then centers the view right there so that's very useful. I have my brush here, my strength is turned all the way up. I'm going to turn this down and turn on a refinement, so refinement right here is refining 100 with a good amount of reduction, so we're going to get a pretty strong effect here, plus since flow is on we'll see instantly that we can flatten something. So we see here as I hold my mouse button down, this is flattening to the view that I am viewing, so now if I rotate 90…
