- [Instructor] This video is on the Flatten tool. Click on Sculpt, under Volume, go to Brushes to Flatten. I'm just going to click on this and you can see that the mesh is being flattened. If I turn on Wire Frame you can also see it's been brought up a little bit to create kind of a table there, and ii has flattened that part of the mesh. We'll go around to the other side of this sphere, so I can show you. Make the brush a little bit smaller and zoom in. And the Flatten tool essentially brings up all of those points to a plateau and flattens. The Flatten tool can be used in all sorts of different places. It will average the distance between two, so if I undo that you can see that there is a level here and a level here. And if I click in between the Flatten tool goes in between those two layers. If you want it to be very powerful, you can make the size very large and it flattens everything and since the bulk of this sphere is what we would want to essentially match with the size that…
