- [Instructor] These sets of videos deal with fixing scans that are a little bit more problematic. This is a scan of me that I took with one of my professional scanners, and I was just sitting in front of the scanner. It got most of my face, but there's some major, major problems you can see. What I want to do is turn this into something that would be vaguely printable. When you're first starting off, you want to generally evaluate your model, and we see there's a lot of problems here. I only got the front part of my face. We want to first start off by going into the Select tool and maybe going from one side and just drawing the rough places that I want to work with. That is actually selected all the way through to the back. I'm going to hit the Delete key to delete that, so that's good. There's some areas over here, so I'm just going to start in the gray with the Select tool still enabled and draw down and clean up by pressing Delete those kind of rough patches on the edge.
