Fit Primitive

- [Instructor] This video is on the fit primitive command. I'm going in to select, a selected area on the mesh. Go to edit. Go to actually select, to edit, down at the bottom, fit primitive, notice this has a p, which means that it uses a single hotkey on your keyboard, which means that the creators of Meshmixer think that this will be something that you would use pretty often enough to justify a single keystroke. So fit primitive, p, what this does is creates primitive objects on your mesh based on the center of the selection. So this is a square, and notice this, it's just a completely flat. One plane sphere, sorry, square, rectangle is a rectangle. A cylinder and just like anything, you can drag the cylinder different places on your mesh, but once you get outside of the selection, you start to get some weird behavior, so if you're going to be dragging a whole lot to different places on your mesh.
