- This video is on the Extrude tool. So I have my re-meshed bunny here which is more dense than a normal bunny. I'm going to go into Select and select an area on it. I'm actually going to turn Wireframe off to show you a little bit more easily what's happening. I'm going to go up here to Edit, to Extrude which is the D key, D as in David on your keyboard and Extrude does exactly what you would think it would do. It extrudes outwards, essentially a pillar coming up. So what you can see here is that this came straight out so the direction is constant. You have some different options for extrusions. Constant means that it's going directly out from what it calculates the center of your selection to be which is why the chin, kind of the cheek of the bunny came out as well. If we change direction to Normal, we get some really, really weird effects that only really make sense once we start to extrude this a little bit.
