- [Instructor] This video is on the deform tools under the select option. I just started off with a file and import sphere, just the default sphere here. I'm going to hit the S key, or also click on select. Make my size a little bit bigger. And select an area. Now I'm going to hit the D key, for extrude. And just kind of pop this area up a little bit. Now it'll give us something to deform. So again I'm going to hit select, and maybe just kind of select one part of this side. And the select tool is already selected, and we go to deform. We have four different options here: smooth, transform, soft transform, and warp. And let's go through these. Smooth is just that, smooth. So if you click on that it will actually do the operation. You have some different options here. Shape preserving, uniform, maximum, preserve group orders, and per group membranes.
