- [Instructor] Depending on the model you're working with, it might be able to stand on its own, or you might have to add a base to keep it from falling over. In this video, we'll look at how to test the model's balance, and create a platform if needed. Okay, so I've got my exercise file open already, and first, let's test to see if this object is going to fall over after it's printed. Just taking a look around it. Looks like it's probably fairly well supported. But, let's just double check. We'll go into Analysis, and click on Stability. So, what this does is, it shows where the contact points are, where they would touch the ground. And, it also measure the object's center of gravity. So, the center of gravity is right here, and you can see the spot directly underneath it is right here. So, you can see, visually, this spot is, basically, within the feet, however Meshmixer is kind of, a little bit confused, maybe this foot is slightly higher up than these two. So, what we can do is…
