Automatic repairs with Inspector - Meshmixer Tutorial
From the course: 3D Scanning a Person
Automatic repairs with Inspector
- Let's take a look at how to use the Inspector tool to make automatic repairs in our mesh. In the sidebar, click on Analysis, and then the Inspector tool. The Inspector points out all the problems with our mesh, and we have a few. Loose faces, small holes, all things that make our model not watertight. It's pretty easy to fix these in MeshMixer. We can either go to one of these spheres and double-click on it to automatically repair each one, but since we have a lot, let's choose the Auto-Repair All. And then we'll choose Done. What that did is it cleared up most of those loose faces on the inside, and any problems that would have affected printability, and our model looks pretty good! We're done using the Inspector, so let's move on to the next step.
