Attract to Target

- [Narrator] This video is on the attract to target command. This is similar to the attract to target brush in the brush panel, but works on a very specific selection. First I'm going to start off, say view, show objects browser, to see that we have one object here. This will not work unless we have two separate objects. So I'm going to go to the sphere, say edit, duplicate. We now have another sphere here that I'm going to press the T key to transform and move it aside. Now we have a copy of that sphere. Great. So that copy I'm going to make as the target, and I'm going to be manipulating the original sphere. So this is locked, it's shaded. This is the target and you're going to go into select, make my brush a little bit bigger, select an area on this mesh and say edit, attract to target. So what that does, it's very similar to the brush doing this except it all does it at once. You have some different sliders here for accuracy. I press W, see that it re-meshed, it created a nice…
