Another technique for fixing models: Bridging
- [Instructor] Sometimes you'll have a hole that comes in on a 3D model that is more complex than you want an automated tool to fix. So this is a complex hole. We can certainly go into Analysis to Inspector, and you'll see that it says a hole there, and Meshmixer will do its best to try to fill it, but that is not the type of fill that you want. You want it to be kind of blocky in the way that you know it should be. So, Flat Fill, Smooth Fill, none of those will do kind of what you want. So, I'm going to back out of this tool. So, we're going to talk, very, very briefly about bridging. Going to hit W to go into Wireframe, and see I've remeshed the center box, and again, you want to work with areas of the mesh that are very, very, dense. These will not work. This will work. You probably even would do well to have this more dense, but we'll go here, and we see some little jagged part down here. I'll press the C key to center and then zoom in. We want to essentially create this in blocks…
