- [Instructor] This video is on the Align tool. Note, also, I'm starting here with the ground plane turned on to see what happens with it. That's under View, to Show Grid. So go to Edit, to Align, and all sorts of things happen to the model. We get a ghost bunny, and a real bunny, and it's all flipped upside down. What we're going to start with is Base Point; Destination, World Origin / Y-up, Translate and Rotate. So what this is, and this is the base setting for the tool, is that Base Point means the bottom of the model is World Origin / Y-up. Now here's somethin' that you need to take into consideration if you're into 3D printing. In the 3D printing world, Z is up. X and Y are left and right, and forward and back. And Z is the up direction. In many modeling tools, including Meshmixer, Y is actually the up direction. So that's just something to keep in mind. There is an export function inside of Meshmixer that says when you export it, flip the Y and Z axes but inside of Meshmixer…
