3D printing your scan with a MakerBot

- Now we'll prepare our file for 3-D printing with MakerBot desktop. I'm already in the prepare tab, and I'll go to Add File, I'll choose the Headdot.stl from the Chapter Four folder in our exercise files, choose Open, our head imports to our platform here, looks pretty good. Let's choose Settings. I like the standard settings, MakerBot says they are a sweet spot between speed and surface quality, and I would agree. I'm going to make sure my raft is turned off, I'm pretty confident being raftless on my replicator two, and we already have supports for MeshMixer, so we don't need to add any auto-generated supports, let's choose save settings. Now let's export our print file and wait while this processes. Now that the export is ready, let's take a look at the print preview. I always like to double check with this slider, that all the parts of the print are present, that they're aren't any obvious artifacts. That looks pretty good, so I'll choose Close and Export Now.
