What you should know before you begin
- [Instructor] It is recommended that you complete my 101 Avid Media Composer Fundamentals 1 course before viewing this 110 course because this course builds on the fundamental skills explored in that course. It's also recommended that you have a basic understanding of core video technology subjects like what a pixel is, what video formats are, frame rates, and color modes. The difference between YUV and RGB color, for example, it's likely to come up. By now, you should have a little hands-on editing experience and feel comfortable navigating the main windows in the Media Composer interface. If you'd like a quick recap of key media technology terms, I encourage you to check out my Digital Media Foundations course here on LinkedIn Learning. With all this in mind, you should be absolutely ready to dive into this course.
