- Welcome to this 101 Avid Media Composer Fundamentals One course. Avid Media Composer is a powerful, non-linear, feature-rich editing system. It has an elegant, clean interface, which is ideal for post-production. Having said that, the clean user interface can make it a little harder to stumble upon features and tools so demonstrations can sometimes help you to get up to speed quickly. This course is for total beginners. You'll learn how to create new projects, bring media in, create sequences, edit shots together, work with audio and effects and titles and output, enough to get working with Media Composer. I hope you'll find this course a useful introduction to editing with Avid Media Composer.
