Video resolution terminology
- [Instructor] Understanding the frame size and frame rate for your project, is really critical because once you've set it, all of your media is going to be conformed to that format regardless of its origin. It doesn't matter what the codec is. It doesn't matter what the file type is. What matters is the resolution and frame rate of your media. I'm on the select project window that you get when just starting up to compose it for the first time. I'm going to click the new project button here just for a moment so we can take a look at our format menu. This is actually a list of sub-menus and in some cases, sub-sub-menus with multiple image resolutions and frame rates. And there are three bits of information we're really looking for here.
