- [Man] There are quite a few ways to get into trim mode in Media Composer and I almost feel that you kind of need to know more how to get out of trim mode than you need to know how to get into it. You'll find yourself jumping into trim mode all the time, just by clicking on cut points in the timeline. Here for example, I'm in trim mode right away. And the trim mode button is right here. And it's down here on the timeline as well. You can come out of trim mode by pressing the keyboard shortcut for the source record editing mode. The button's up here as well. Or by clicking on the timecode bar on the timeline. Personally, I tend to end up picking on the timecode bar. It's bigger, it's easier to click on than the little button, and of course, you can make these tracks taller if you want to. There's quite a few ways, as I said, to get into trim mode and I just want to show you a couple of approaches without necessarily using some of the keyboard shortcuts.
