- [Lecturer] The timeline window in media composer is incredibly configurable. You can decide any time that you want to view things like clip durations or change whether you're seeing frames, feel clips or not. And in fact, it's so configurable you can create your own presets for the way information is displayed in the window. I'm going to start out here by clicking on this menu at the bottom of the timeline window and clicking Save As, and I'm going to define our first timeline view. I'm just going to call this Default and click Okay. So we now have that option on the menu. If I click on the fast menu of the timeline window, there are all of these options for the types of information that's going to be displayed. I want to draw your attention as well, especially to this view type option. If I just choose heads all I get is a single image representing the first frame of each clip.
