Soloing and muting tracks
- [Instructor] Media composer has dedicated solo and mute buttons available for each audio track. And they work a little bit like the monitoring button that's available for video. Except that, with the video tracks, if I just right click and choose new and video track, you can see that I can only ever have one of these buttons on at a time. It's the top most visible track that you're choosing. For audio, you can apply the solo or mute options on a track by track basis and the options that you choose combine. Just to illustrate this, let me resize this audio one track I'm holding down, Control here on windows or Command on Mac OS to drag this bottom line. I'm going to go into the music bin for this project, and I'll just switch here. On alt or option clicking to get the red overwrite segment mode. And I'm going to pull this music straight out of the bin into our sequence. And, it looks like I've got a bit of an issue.…
