- [Voiceover] I want to show you a really fantastic feature of markers in Media Composer, that a lot of just editors never discover. It's tucked away as an addition button in the command palette and I just think you're going to love it. Before I go on, I've created a few duplicate versions of this clip, so here's the close interview clip that I added some markers to, that you can compare to. Here's a version with no markers at all, and here's the version I'm going to work with now, in this lesson about selecting ranges. As well as using markers as a visual cue, so for example, here I could decide that any gap between two markers that are near to each other is a region of the clip that I want, that's one way of working with them. Another way is, maybe if I double-click on a marker, of course I can't open it up because I've turned off the marker pop-up, so let's go to my tools, menu, let's go to markers and let's turn that off.
