Overview of the Source Browser

- [Instructor] The source browser is your go-to tool for importing or linking media in Avid Media Composer. There's a couple of ways of getting to it. You can go to the file menu and choose input and source browser. You can also go to the tools menu and choose source browser there. And there's a duplicate of that input menu right inside your bins. So here I'm in the scene seven bin. I'm going to right click and choose input and choose source browser. If you take your time over the controls in the source browser, they do kind of make sense. And if you hover your cursor over a button, you'll get a tool tip telling you what it does. Let's take a quick look at the controls before we import and link some media for this project. Right at the top here, I've got some browse buttons, go back and forward, and I can browse up just as you would in the finder in Mac OS or in Windows Explorer. Notice that that there is a name tab…
