- [Instructor] I just want to draw your attention to one particular gotcha when working on the timeline in Media Composer, which is that it can be pretty difficult to know where to click if you just want to move the playhead and view a different part of your sequence. It's pretty simple, under the monitors you can just click and drag, and coincidentally, if you want to hear the audio while you drag, you can hold down the shift key or for that matter you can turn on caps lock. The same rule applies on the timeline, but where do you click to move the play head? If you click at the top, no problem at all or on the bottom, in either case, you're clicking on a time code track and you'll find out later that you can click on the time code track to come out of some of the different display modes in Media Composer as well. But you'll probably find that if you click somewhere in the main part of the timeline on one of the tracks in particular on a clip, well, now you've moved something along…
