Importing
- [Instructor] Media composer has a dedicated tool for importing or linking to media. And it's called the source browser. We'll get into that in another lesson. But, before we do, I'd like to show you a long way around, so that you have a clear idea about what the source browser is doing for you. I've got this scene six bin open and selected and I want to bring some media into it. The classic way of doing this, would be to right-click and choose inputs and I'm going to choose import media. This option brings up the select files to import dialog box. This is a browser. Of course, I'm on Windows, but if you were on Mac OS, you'd have a finder Window. In this case, I'm going to go up one level and I'm going to browse inside this 006 folder because that's the scene bin that we're in right now and I'm going to choose just one of these clips because I want to show you how to do this with the source browser in another lesson.…
