- [Instructor] I think it's fair to say that Media Composer lends itself extremely well to editing using the keyboard and navigating using the keyboard. And to navigate with the keyboard you need to really get a grip on the way time code works in the application. And there's just two features I'd like to share with you to maybe add to your toolkit in working with time code in Media Composer. Right now in our Composer settings we've enabled the second line of time code and I'm just going to drag to resize a little bit here so we can see more clearly what's going on in these views. And maybe also I'll open up our dailies bin and open up a regular clip in the source monitor so you can see it. The center duration part of the time code is the current duration in whichever window is active. And in the case of the source player it means how much of the clip have you selected to bring into a sequence. If I use in an outpoints…
