Deleting media using the Media tool

- [Instructor] For this tutorial, I'm working with a new project called Technical Fundamentals. Regardless of whether you import or link to media, when you're working in a project in Media Composer, Media Composer is tracking the relationships between those original media files and the project you're working in. If you import, it's very likely that your media has been copied and transcoded into one of the Avid native codecs, and if you link to your original media files, there's a good chance that the link from the clip in the project file goes to the original camera-native media files. Media Composer has a long list of compatible codecs for playback this way. The question is, when it's time for you to remove the project from your system, or perhaps, if you want to clear space on your system, how to identify exactly which media files to remove.
