Creating a motion effect
- (Narrator) Motion effects can also be created in the source monitor. I'm going to pick out this other clip a little bit further along in the sequence. And again I'm going to hold alt or option and click on the "Match Frame" button to open it in the source monitor. There's quite a lot going on in this shot. We've got a couple of different jumps for our subject and the total duration is about six seconds and well it's exactly six seconds and 21 frames. So it's not too long and I'm going to produce a slow-motion version. To do this I'm going to add a button to the source monitor. I'm going to "Tools" and into the "Command Palette" and in my "Command Palette" which is set to button-to-button reassignment mode, I'm going to go to "Effects" and I'll take this "Motion Effect Editor" button and drag that into my source monitor.
