Writing a disk cache
- [Instructor] We've prepared to save out our simulation disk cache. We created the file_cache node, and in it's parameters, we've set it to Write Mode and we've plugged in the file path and Filename for our cache sequence and now, we're ready to actually create the cache. I've paused the graphs, so I'll need to un-pause that. We could do that from the menus or with a keyboard shortcut, which is Control + Period. I do recommend that you memorize that keyboard shortcut Control + Period to pause and un-pause the Bifrost graph. You'll need to do that to prevent performance hiccups when you make and break connections or simply change parameter values in a heavy graph. All right, we're ready to create our cache. I'll minimize the BiFrost graph editor. Give focus to the camera viewport, so we can see the cache being created as we go.
