…Now one more way to stay organized is to use what are are called selection masks.…Now, selection masks allow you to only…select certain types of objects within the scene.…Now we can get to this basically through a menu option here.…Now this may be hidden but we can show or hide the section mask icons.…Now what this does is allow us to click on or off, different…types of objects, so that we select them or don't select them, so…for example, if I selected all objects off, I wouldn't be able to select anything…in the scene, because I don't have any objects available for selection.…
Now, I could go over to here and basically select by type of…object, so if we go here, I could select different types of surface objects.…If I right click here I could select only Nurb surfaces.…So, if I click everything else off I can select only nurb surfaces in the scene.…So, this background image is a Nurb surface.…The wall isn't a nurb surface, but the bowl and the floor are.…So now I'm not able to select anything but Nurb Surfaces.…
