Using the exercise files

- [Voiceover] So if you have access to the exercise files they're gonna be helpful for you to follow along with the course. So if we open the exercise files folder, you can see that we have everything organized into the various chapters, and for example, if you open chapter two and open up scenes, you can see that we have end states and start states for all of our different videos, which will help you follow along. A bunch of these start dates are basically empty Maya scenes but we've included them just so you can know where we started and then we can work towards the end. Now what we also want to make sure we do per chapter, is go to Maya, when we switch between chapters, we just want to make sure to use the Set Project feature of Maya to point to the right directory. So in Maya we go to File, Set Project, for example I'll go Chapter Two, and go Set. That way when I go to my Open menu, Maya will automatically point to the scenes folder of that chapter, and everything will be there. And for some chapters we do have related source images or audio files, and so that will make the directory hunting easier 'cause everything will point to the right place. If you don't have access to the exercise files, a lot of these examples are very simple and we start from scratch, so you can use your own assets and follow along with your own items.
