…Now, we can take NURBS curves and turn…them into surfaces using a number of methods.…Probably the most common one is to use the Revolve.…Some packages, or some people, call it a lathe, but in Maya we call it a Revolve.…So let's go ahead and start by just creating a simple object.…I'm going to go into my front view port here.…And, in order to really make this work,…I'm actually going to turn on Snap to Grid.…So we have a number of snap options along the top here,…and the one on the far left is called Snap to Grid.…
So what that'll do is that will snap my vertices to this grid.…So what I want to do is, let's go ahead and just do the classic wine glass.…So I'm going to go ahead and create a…CV curve, and I'm going to find this center line here.…And I'm going to go ahead and snap to that.…Now the reason that I'm snapping is because when we revolve,…I need to have those vertices exactly on the center line.…If they're not, I'm going to get a hole in my object.…
