Use XGen to create grass

Hi, I'm George Maestri, and today we're going to take a look at grass. And we're going to create some simple grass using the XGen plugin. Now if you've never used XGen before this is a great way to get introduced to this really powerful module. So I've got a very simple scene here. I've got a ground plane, I've got a tree, and then I've got a background of clouds. Now that background of clouds is actually attached to a camera as an image plane. And we can see that by going into perspective, camera one. And that shows us the scene that we're going to play with. Now if we want to create grass in XGen, we need to get to the XGen plugin. And we can do that in our shelves by going to the XGen shelf. Now in order to do this I need to select the ground plane. And then, the easiest way to do this is to use the Xgen window. So I'm going to go ahead and open this up and it comes up as a tab along this sidebar here. Now we have a couple of options here. And the one we're interested in is…
