In our final chapter on Maya Rigid Bodies we are going to look at Constraints.…We will be using Animation Constraints, but more importantly we will be using…Dynamic Rigid Constraints.…Here's a Newton's cradle animation that I've created using Rigid Bodies.…This is an automated animation.…There are no keyframes.…There's actually one keyframe which is on a Spring Constraint.…It's on a hidden layer here.…So I'll open that up to make it visible.…That's the so-called "spring."…There is actually one keyframe on that spring in order to enable or disable its…ability to pull the sphere over. I'll rewind that.…
And when the constraint turns off you'll see that that turns into dashed line.…That's the only keyframe I have in the whole animation.…Then to keep these spheres in place I've used Hinge Constraints.…So those are all on hidden layers as well.…I'll make that visible and these are the constraints that are holding those spheres.…You'll notice that they're positioned directly above the spheres and you will notice…
