…Let's animate some stuff in Maya.…We're going to start by taking a look at the…basic animation interface and then get down to key framing.…So, the animation interface is pretty straight forward.…You're probably familiar with the time slider here,…so I can slide my animation back and forth.…We also have playback controls so if I want I can playback here.…I can also step forward one key at a time.…So if I select an object here, I can actually step forward one key at a time.…
So I've got three keys in this timeline, and you can see the keys here.…You see I have a little red mark here at frame…zero, another one at frame 24, and another one at 48.…Now in addition to this, we can just step forward one frame at a time.…So you can basically step through your animation.…We can also go to beginning and end.…And one of the nice things about the Maya…timeline is that you can also play backwards, or…step through the animation backwards, which is kind of handy…and I don't see that in a lot of packages.…
Now, what frames you're playing back is determined by this second line here.…
